General aviation Fly-In

Airshow ramp parking is now available for the General Aviation fly-in! Why drive when you can fly to the airshow for a fully immersive airshow experience!

Fly In Policies:

Airplane making it's way to park after landing

  • GA airshow parking is on the concrete clearway located on the North side and East end of Runway 04
  • Aircraft must be parked by 1030L
  • Bring your own chocks, as tie-downs are limited
  • All occupants must have proof of tickets
  • After the airspace is closed for the airshow, you will not be able to depart until approximately 1700L
  • It is up to the aircraft owner/pilot if they will allow guests to touch or sit in their aircraft
  • You are not required to stay with your aircraft, but the MLAS is not responsible for lost or damaged items
  • Volunteers will discourage airshow guests from touching unattended aircraft, but we cannot guarantee constant supervision
  • Campers can reposition their aircraft after the airshow (1700L) to the FBO parking areas with tie-downs
  • You are invited to a complimentary fly-in breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday mornings from 0700-0900L and an evening social event (details TBD).

*If you want to arrive by personal aircraft but are unable to comply with the aforementioned requirements, you can make independent parking and ground transportation arrangements with Million Air or CPA. However, you will still be subject to the TFRs, airshow traffic deconfliction plans, and FBO space availability. If you prefer to land at W20 or KEPH, Uber, Lyft and local taxi services are available. Discounted tickets are not applicable to these options.

AERO CAMPING:

You can also turn the fly-in into a weekend get-away by adding an Aero Camping pass. Only one ticket is needed per tent space (approximately 20’x25’), and the cost is $20 each night. Please note that camping spots are on grass and under trees, and will be available for the evenings of FRIDAY, JUNE 14 and SATURDAY, JUNE 15. Portable toilets will be onsite, and the common area of an adjacent building will be open all night for internet, air conditioning, and restrooms.

Some picnic tables will be available. There will be some porta-potties at the site, but a camping reservation does include 24 hours access to the terminal, which has restrooms, power, WiFi and air conditioning.

Campers will be able to transit between the fly-in parking area and the terminal camping area by shuttle.

Fly-In Breakfast will be available from 0700-0900 on Saturday AND Sunday, and a Pilot Social will take place from 1800-2000L on Saturday.

PLEASE NOTE:
You will need to purchase a ticket for EACH DAY YOU ARE ATTENDING the airshow and a ticket for EACH NIGHT YOU ARE CAMPING.
